![]() ![]() Setting a Frame as a WaypointĪ quick caveat here – it’s not actually the frame that’s set as a waypoint, its the actor or actors in the frame who are given waypoint status. This new Version 4 feature solves this problem by letting you tell the program that an actor is not stopping in any given frame, but is instead merely changing direction and the tweening will reflect that. Thus if you were shooting a baseball game, for example, and the actor was supposed to start at home base, then run around all the bases and finally return to home base, the tweening would have him stop at each base in turn rather than just continuing to run the whole circle without interruption. Up until now, each snapped frame that you used to create your tweens was kept exactly as-is, and only the generated frames between it and the next frame were created or changed. If you aren’t familiar with FrameForge’s Tweening functions you should first read about it as this section assumes you have a good understanding of its basic functions and terminology, and it only covers the new Tweening options introduced in Version 4. NOTE: FrameForge 4 is the ONLY 64 bit version we sell and if you've upgraded your OS and an earlier version no longer runs, then you'll need to either upgrade to FrameForge 4 (which you can do so here) or downgrade your OS.Tweening with Waypoints Waypoints in Tweening ![]() If you have FrameForge 4 on Catalina but it won't run, that that means you haven't updated to the latest version and you can simply run WebGrabFF4 to update it, as per the instructions in the second paragraph above. If you're running an OS PRIOR to Catalina and see the following message (or something like it) then you do not need to be concerned as Apple has been aggressively pushing all developers to produce 64 bit applications and is giving this warning on any application that is still 32 bits despite the fact that they still run fine on OS's PRIOR to Catalina. Unzip it and move the new version into your FrameForge program folder, replacing the old version of WebGrab-FF4 and then run it from there. NOTE: If you have one of the very early releases of FrameForge 4 prior to it being updated to 64 bit and you need a 64 bit version of Webgrab to update it, then you can download it here. Prior Version of FrameForge are 32 bit applications and are NOT compatible with Catalina. FrameForge Version 4 is a 64 bit application and is fully compatible with Catalina. ![]()
